Sales Advisor

Southwold

This is a 6.5 hour temporary contract over one day per week, from the start of April to the end of September.  

The Sales Advisor will be responsible for assisting the day to day running of the business. They will also be at the forefront of implementing and maintaining the day to day commercial, visual and operational expectations set by the Retail Manager. They must have a genuine passion for the brand and believe in putting the customer at heart at everything they do; ensuring a seamless customer experience from start to finish.

Main Responsibilities 

Commercial

  • Assisting the manager and supervisor by giving feedback on risks and opportunities on a daily basis by reviewing sales figures and looking out for trends in customer buying behaviour
  • Be confident in putting forward suggestions and new ideas to keep our brand offer exciting
  • Able to follow a clear goals and objectives to drive all store KPI’s 
  • Embrace multi channel development by driving in store web sales as well as in store sales
  • Be able to promote our unique offer of Hand stamped jewellery by attending training to learn this as a new skill
  • To assist in launching store promotional sales and activities

Operations

  • Able to carry out cash handling till transactions, includings sales, refunds, exchanges, and end of day register closures
  • Adhering to all health and safety requirements as well as all company policies
  • Responsible for driving low stock loss and markdown by following a robust stock loss action plan
  • Assisting in the efficient operation of stock management; including stock replenishment, stock levels, receiving/processing delivery and stock room layout 
  • To follow all store processes and procedures as well as carrying out any other duties that may be required by the Company from time to time. 

Visual

  • Ensure visual merchandising standards are met at all times by adhering to company VM guidelines
  • Contribute ideas and feedback to the manager and supervisor to challenge the commerciality of merchandised products 
  • Support the retail manager and supervisor by identifying store specific visual opportunities and creative solutions 
  • Assist in organising and implementing special promotions, displays and events
  • Maintaining the hygiene standards of the store; assisting in the daily cleaning of customer touch points and back of house areas

Team Development 

  • Assist the supervisor with training and development of the store team, including shop processes and hand stamping 
  • Embrace a learning culture by delivering consistent communication, through regular feedback to the supervisor and manager

IT Support & Systems Administrator

Location: Rackheath

Are you an IT professional passionate about providing the best tools and amazing support? You could be what we’re looking for.

We're looking for a talented and enthusiastic IT Support & Systems Administrator to join us at our headquarters in Rackheath. You'll be the go-to person for all things IT, ensuring our warehouses, retail shops and offices are running smoothly. You'll be the sole IT admin, but you'll have the support of the Dev team behind you.

We’re looking for someone that enjoys supporting end users, whether it's a simple fix like a broken printer or helping a user recover accidentally deleted files but is also passionate about networking and systems administration.  We want someone that is  really approachable and happy to provide in person support to non-technical users as well as remote support where appropriate.

You will need your own transport in order to visit other sites for issues that can’t be rectified remotely.

For the right candidate we’re willing to be flexible on the role, whether that’s someone really passionate about IT support or someone with a background in networking. As long as you can provide top notch IT support and have a drive to learn then we want to hear from you.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support in-person and using remote tools
  • Monitoring and Maintenance and Diagnosis of internal networks (wired and wireless) at our HQ as well as remote shops

Hours

The role is 40 hours per week. This will usually be Monday - Friday. You will be required to work six weekends in November and December which is our busiest and most important time of year. You’ll be expected to work out of hours occasionally when required for updates etc. that can’t be done during normal hours. This is an on-site role but will have some occasional travel to our retail stores.

Senior Buyer (Maternity Cover)

Location: Rackheath

The Senior Buyer manages the Buying team in order to design, select and plan a successful range of products for our stores and platforms.  They ensure that range planning for both OB and Brands is considered and drives sales and business performance through best practice of range planning and review, CP management, administration and supplier management.

They will work alongside the merchandising team to ensure understanding of our OTB spend, performance and stock management. They will work closely with the wholesale team to ensure all requirements for key accounts are being considered and worked on by the team.  They support and drive the personal development of the buying team supporting them on core buying skills and their development.

The Senior Buyer will take responsibility for branded product buying and liaise with the creative director on selection and ranging for online and stores. The role will also be the driver of our trading strategies alongside the head of marketing to deliver commercial plans on our partner platforms and website, this will include agreeing product support for marketing, promotion execution,  liaising with NOTHS on product plans and delivering product to meet the platform needs.

The Senior Buyer will have an in-depth knowledge of the financials and business plan and apply this when decision making for business activities and product purchase. They will drive weekly trading meetings to ensure we react and plan accordingly.

This role reports to the Head of Buying, Merchandising and Wholesale.

Main Responsibilities

  • Be instrumental in driving the buying team exploiting commercial opportunities, new business opportunities and how we can make those a reality.
  • Regularly review the range with the team to ensure all opportunities are being exploited, liaising with the creative director as needed
  • Ensure the team are reactive to trend and sales in season, exiting worst sellers and building on best. Driving buying actions with the team from the weekly trade meeting.
  • Ensure lessons learnt feed new development via the product development process and brand selection and that plans are in place to make the best of any commercial opportunity.
  • Ensure the team uses their range plans effectively to manage all the information surrounding development and launch, and that stakeholders are up to date with all relevant information.
  • Work with the teams on the development of critical path ensuring both design and inhouse development are briefed in a timely manner with trello being managed effectively. A
  • Understand supplier strengths and weaknesses and support buyers in their decision making on development and assist where needed to negotiate trading terms or other commercial agreements
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and source new suppliers for future products in order that we can expand our offer, and take up new opportunities
  • Work with design to ensure the buying team are supported as needed and liaise with the head of buying and merchandising to allow the team to be supported
  • Work alongside merchandising to plan and forecast sales for product and platforms, feeding to them information to support the planning process. Understanding and agreeing buying actions from that plan
  • Lead the weekly trade meeting ensuring that buyers are commercially focussed on their own brand assortment, and that branded actions are picked up by merchandising where appropriate
  • Work with the marketing team to deliver supported marketing plans on our website/stores, feeding into pre campaign and post campaign work, delivering a plan to support the partner platforms on a monthly basis and being the key point of contact for NOTHS
