Customer service is shocking though and will prevent me from ever using them again. For anything.
Item is £22. Offered 10% off for first time customer. Before check out, go to a specific page where I can select a shipping option before going to check out and chose the free option as my order was over £20.
Applied discount.
Order comes to £19.80! Nice. Click to checkout. At no point does it clearly show me that I no longer qualify for free shipping and my purchase checks out at £22.80. More than the initial price of the item!!
Only realise what’s happen when the message comes through from my bank. So now it’s actually cost me 80p more than the original price.
Customer service refused to refund me the difference and honour the 10% off. And as most items are around this piece, you’ll never actually benefit from the 10% discount.
They said they’d prefer me to return the item and get my full £22.80 back, than honour the 10% discount. Odd.
So I don’t recommend. Think the website isn’t clear at all and customer service really poor.
